Project Summary
This project saw the demolition of an existing residential dwelling to pave the way for the construction of a contemporary home. To benefit from the views to the rear of the property, this elevation was entirely glazed, resulting in a hybrid of steel framed and traditional construction.
Our involvement on this project included assisting in the procurement of Geotechnical engineering services and an assessment of the subsequent findings to determine the most cost-effective foundation solution.
As part of our appointment, we provided civil and structural engineering services covering the design and detailing of the steel, masonry and timber elements and the foul and surface water drainage systems.
